Exploring the Effects of Social Media on Marriages in Northern Ghana

The proliferation of social media has served as an extension the life people; information seeking, socialization, and many other needs. study uses a sequential mixed method (quantitative qualitative design) to examine effects dependency on marital relationships in northern Ghana. Results revealed high Ghana with serious ramifications romantic relationships. Thus, frequent online engagement heightened partner monitoring, suspicion, jealousy, mistrust between couples, affecting long-term relationships’ well-being. Couples define standards/regulatory mechanisms constrain their SNS minimize associated media.
